Sending a Direct Message as a Provider - 2.0

This tutorial will walk you through the steps of sending a direct message via the Healthy Roster for both the web and the app platform.

Please Note: Terminology is different based on your setting, for example, a clinical setting uses Care Group as Organizations, Patient instead of Athlete, and Visits instead of Treatment, lastly Problems instead of Injuries but the steps are still the same.

00:01: Hi, this is Nikki from healthy roster. 00:03: This tutorial will show you how to send a direct message as a provider using the 00:07: web platform. 00:09: Whether you'd like to message a provider or a patient directly the action 00:13: will still be the same select the message icon on the left navigation. 00:18: If you have an existing chat, you can simply select it and continue your chat 00:22: if you'd like to send a new message select new message. 00:27: Here you will see a listing of all of the users that have accepted their invitation 00:32: to join healthy roster. I am first going to message a 00:36: provider user. 00:38: Type your message in the text box. 00:41: Now select enter or send 00:45: Now, let's presume. I'd like to send a direct message to a patient. 00:48: I'm going to select new message again. 00:52: Here you will see I have an athlete or a patient listed first Taylor Bell. 00:57: I'm going to select to send my message directly to Taylor. 01:01: Again, you will type in your message.   1. Select the message icon
  2. Select New Message
  3. Select the user that you'd like to message
  4. Type your message and select to send it

I am now able to select my patient. 00:37: Then the options will populate from the bottom of your screen. 00:41: I'm going to select to directly message this patient. 00:46: Now send your message as you see here. Step-By-Step Tutorial App
PROVIDER TO USER (ATHLETE/PARENT/COACH/PATIENT)
  1. Sign in to your Healthy Roster app and select the "Messages" icon on your bottom navigation bar
  2. Next, select "Contacts" at the top right corner of the screen
  3. You will see a list of contacts & directories - Select the directory that the patient belongs to, then locate the patient you need to send a direct message to.
  4. Select the patient
  5. From the bottom of the screen, you will be presented with options, select Message
  6. Type your message and select "Send"

PROVIDER TO PROVIDER
  1. From your Messages tab, select "Contacts" in the top right of your screen
  2. Search or scroll to find the contact you wish to message and select that contact
  3. Click on the messaging bubble that appears next to the provider’s contact information.
  4. Type your message and select "Send"
