Activating a Scheduled Video Treatment/Encounter - Patient
Please Note: Terminology is different based on your setting
How It Works
- When you have been scheduled for a video encounter you will receive an email from Healthy Roster which will appear as the image below. Once you have opened this email you will be able to click Open Video Chat and your video chat will be launched. Please note that the video visit link will not be active until you are within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time.

Step-By-Step Tutorial:
- Navigate to your email notification and select Open Video Chat
- If you are activating the video visit on a browser, you may be prompted to allow microphone and camera access prior to continuing the visit. This pop-up box may look different in different browsers. If you are opening your video chat from a mobile device, the prompt to allow microphone and camera access may be slightly different. Please ensure that you are selecting "Allow" to move forward to next steps.
- Input your name
- Select Next
- You will now join your video visit with your provider. The video visit will be fully activated when both parties are present.
