How to: Request an Image Upload

Although users cannot attach images to documents, they can still upload images as a separate document type.

00:00: Hi this is Niki from healthy roster, and this tutorial is going to show you how to request an image upload from your patients oftentimes, you will need to request an image of the front and the back of an insurance card this tutorial will show you how to set that document type up 00:16: To begin click the document tab on your left navigation 00:21: Now select document types 00:25: To add a new document type select add 00:28: Now you will input the information for this document type give this document type a title as well as a custom description we do recommend being as explicit as possible for users when they're uploading an image given here are directions for the web as well as the app 00:45: Next you will set up document management form options and notification settings 00:50: Now you'll want to assign your document type to organizations it will default to assign to all however you can uncheck that box and just assign to the organizations you wish to have this document type 01:01: Now that you've completed the setup of your document type you can select save as a note once you select save this document type is now available for your patients 01:12: If you have questions or need more help please visit the help tab on your left navigation or reach us directly at help@healthyroster.com

Step-By-Step Tutorial:
  1. Select the document tab from your left navigation
  2. Select Document Types
  3. Select Add
  4. Input the details for this document type. The Title will be saved as the end view for the document. We recommend being explicit with the ask for the description/instructions for the user.
Example Instructions:

Please upload a FRONT and BACK image of your insurance card. Follow the directions below:

From the WEB: Select the three dots to the right of the desired document -- select "Add Document" -- click or drag to upload your file -- add a note if necessary-- Select OK

From the APP: tap on the desired document -- select "Scan document with camera" -- take an image of the FRONT of your insurance card -- Select "add another page" -- take an image of the BACK of your insurance card -- Select "Done Scanning"
  1. Continue to set: Document Management, Form Options, Notification Settings, and User Access as desired
  2. Assign to your desired Organizations
  3. Select Save
To view how the patient will complete the document follow along with: Scanning Documents (App)
