Linking and Adding Patients to Epic

This tutorial will walk you through the process of linking and adding a patient to Epic from within Healthy Roster.

Step-By-Step Tutorial
LINKING A PATIENT TO A PROFILE THAT ALREADY EXISTS IN EPIC
  1. Go to the athlete's profile and click on Link to Epic
  2. If a patient with the same name and birthday is found within Athena, it will show that profile on that next page. With the right athlete selected, click on the green Link Athlete button. This athlete will now be linked to their corresponding Athena profile. 
CREATING A NEW ATHLETE IN
  1. On the athlete's profile, click on Link to E
  2. The next page will come back saying there were no patients found, click on the Add Athlete in Athena button. The athlete will then be created in Athena and linked automatically.
