Managing referrals and tracking their status across your organization can be a challenging task. At Healthy Roster, we offer multiple solutions to streamline this process. The most efficient method is through the Referral tab in the left navigation menu. This centralized tool allows you to update, document, and close referrals seamlessly for your entire organization. Staying on top of your referrals and their statuses enhances efficiency, ensures accurate tracking, and improves documentation. Additionally, it provides your healthcare organization with valuable insights to identify bottlenecks, measure performance, and refine processes.
Alternatively, you can utilize the Reporting platform to view the status of referrals, offering another effective way to monitor and manage referral workflows.

00:00: Hi, this is Nikki from healthy roster. 00:02: This tutorial will walk you through the purpose and benefits of managing your referrals 00:06: as they progress in status. Management of referrals can be completed, 00:10: multiple ways throughout our platform. We will discuss in this training, the 00:14: methods and their benefits independently as we move throughout. 00:19: Let's first discuss the referrals tab on the left navigation. 00:25: Here, you will see the referrals tab offers, you a centralized tool to 00:29: update document and close your referral seamlessly for your entire organization. 00:35: You will see here. You're also able to apply filters to see only what 00:39: you want to see when you're looking at the referrals for your organization. 00:44: Selecting the edit icon on the referral will navigate you directly 00:48: to this patient's referral here, you can update the status closed, the referral, 00:53: add in notes, attachments, and other entities that you would like 01:15: If there's no need to edit or add to the referral itself, this page 01:19: allows you the ability to drag and drop the referral into the desired column. 01:25: This helps track and manage your referrals as they progress. 01:28: This also gives you a quick access, you're not navigating from patient profile 01:32: to Patient profile. 01:34: Alternatively, you're also encouraged to utilize the reporting platform in 01:39: management of your referrals. This allows you the ability to view the statuses 01:43: and gives you another way to effectively Monitor and manage those workflows. 01:48: Often you will find you already have a referral report. 01:52: If you don't, it's necessary to create a new referral report to do. 01:56: So select add 02:00: You will want to provide your report with a name and a description. 02:03: This helps to make sure that you understand what this report is for. 02:07: And what information it will be pulling. I'm going to use the template referral 02:11: log once you have the basic parameter of your report, ready? Select okay. 02:17: The basic outline of your report template will now generate Selecting 02:22: refresh. 02:23: Allows you the ability to see actual data while you're still in edit mode 02:27: for this report. I would like to see if my statuses of these referrals 02:32: are closed to do, so I'm going to select the menu icon. 02:37: Next. Select edit. 02:40: Because our desired outcome is to see if a referral has been closed. 02:44: I'm going to select columns. 02:48: You can now decide what columns you'd like to include on this report checked, 02:52: columns, are ones that are already there. I would like to see what 02:57: referrals have been closed, so, I will select is closed. 03:01: Once you've determined which columns you would like to include select, okay? 03:06: And now select refresh this, again allows you the ability to see live 03:11: data within edit mode. 03:14: Now that the report is built the way that I would like it to be built, I'm going to select done. 03:20: Now, that you're in run mode, you will be able to set your parameters for the report 03:24: and select run. 03:28: On my final report, you're able to see which of my referrals have been closed 03:32: in which are still actively open. 03:35: If you have questions or need more help, please visit the help tab on the left navigation 03:39: or reach us directly at help at healthy roster.com.

This centralized tool allows you to update, document, and close referrals seamlessly for your organization.
Select the Referrals tab on the left navigation
Review all open referrals
Filter reporting depending on your needs

To edit, select the edit icon to the right of the referral and edit as appropriate
To quickly manage the status of referrals, drag and drop the referral to the desired column
To place the referral into a status other than Pending, Scheduled, or Completed, drag and drop the referral into one of the options seen above the columns.
Step-By-Step Navigation: Reporting
This route offers another effective way to monitor and manage referral workflows, this is particularly helpful if you'd like to review referrals that are closed.
Select the Reporting tab on the left navigation.
You may run an existing report on referrals or create your own to use moving forward. Select Add to create a new report
Title the report and select the template, Referral Log, select OK
Set the report parameters and select Run
If you wish to include closed status options on your reporting, you will want to switch to edit mode. Select the menu icon, then select edit
To include a column for closed referrals select the menu icon for the table, then select Edit
Select columns
Select to include Is Closed
Select OK
Set reporting parameters, now select refresh to update the report, is closed will now show with a check mark to denote the referral is closed
Select Done to save your edits and generate the report in run mode
