Advanced Data Sources

Coming soon to Healthy Roster 2.0!

This video will explain how to choose data sources based on their descriptions and included fields. When combining data into reportable datasets, compromises are often necessary for easier reporting.

Consider the encounter dataset. This dataset shows multiple services listed under the same encounter ID, which can lead to discrepancies in reporting unique encounters versus services provided. To address this, we will introduce the concept of "count distinct" aggregation for accurate counting of unique encounters.

Additional scenarios will be discussed regarding encounter service cost and referral revenue, where separating data elements like problems or services into distinct rows is crucial for accurate reporting without duplication. This approach ensures the correct measurement of costs and revenue across datasets.
